Nobody should be cold I was a cancer patient and was rendered almost homeless when my heat was broken and the roof fell in under the weight of snow on the roof. My slum landlord did not want to do the necessary repairs to make my apartment habitable. Tough times and only 4years ago It was - 17 and January in Canada and I had a tarp for part of my ceiling and no heating for almost 14 days I am now blessedly cured from cancer with no evidence of disease I was blessed with a new affordable apartment with a working roof and heat and a great new landlord I walk for health and so others don’t need to feel the cold and stress like I did
